KEYS, Aura - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Aura E. Keys, 91, retired bricklayer and carpenter, died at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the home of a a daughter, Mrs. Lester (Della) Lowe, 819 Court St, after a long illness. A son of John F and Hulda J. Poole Keys, he was born June 18, 1878 at Waynetown. He was educated in the Montgomery County schools and was married in 1899 to Sarah Mullens. Mr. Keys had been a member of the First Christian Church here since 1923. Surviving are the daughter, a son, Delbert E. Keys of Crawfordsville; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. preceding Mr. Keys in death were his wife; three sisters, one a twin and two brothers. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Powers Funeral Home with Howard Miller officiating. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cem. Friends may call at the funeral home.
